Emergency Medicine Locums in Alabama

Small E.R. Dept. in Alabama is seeking a Physician to work on a moonlighting basis. This hospital is located approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour from Montgomery & Auburn and less than 2 hrs. from Birmingham.

We are seeking a Physician with ER experience who is Board Certified/Eligible and holds an active & unrestricted DEA & Alabama License.

Shifts are 12 or 24 hours and run 7 AM – 7 PM and 7 PM – 7 AM

Census: Avg. 20 patients in 24 hours / 7-8k annual visits

EMR is implemented

Physician quarters available while on duty. Candidates within commuting distance is preferred

Compensation: Offering an hourly rate, malpractice and mileage reimbursement
