Small ER Hiring Locum Physician in Alabama

Small ER Department is hiring a locum physician to moonlight in Alabama. 

THE LOCATION

• Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour from Montgomery & Auburn

• Less than 2 hrs. from Birmingham

THE REQUIREMENTS

• ER experience

• Board Certified / Board Eligible

• Must hold an active & unrestricted DEA

• Must hold an active & unrestricted AL. License

THE POSITION

• Either 12 or 24 hours

• Run 7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM

THE COMPENSATION

• Offering hourly rate

• Includes malpractice and mileage reimbursement

THE CENSUS

• Avg. 20 patients in 24 hours

• 7-8k annual visits

OTHER DETAILS

• EMR is implemented

• Physician quarters available while on duty

• Must be within commuting distance or willing to stay in a room in the hospital before or after the shift

• Housing is not available
