Emergency Dept. Hiring Experienced Physicians for Moonlighting Shifts in Alabama

Low Volume Emergency Department seeking Physicians with ER experience to work on a moonlighting basis. Candidates MUST be able to work weekday & weekend shifts. Shifts run 6-6, but most physicians work several shifts in a row.

Location: Alabama. Only 1-1/2 hr. from Montgomery and just little over one hour from Jackson.

ER Volume: Approx. 6,000 visits per year (very low volume which allows for lots of rest!)

Inpatient rounding: Max is between 3-4 patients

Very private physician room that has a bed, shower, refrigerator, etc.

Competitive hourly rate, malpractice coverage and mileage reimbursement.

Requirements: MUST be Board Certified/Board Eligible, have ER experience, have a current & unrestricted AL License, State & Federal DEA, Clean Databank and No malpractice history.
