Interventional Cardiologist Job in Florida  Locum-to-Perm Position

This Interventional Cardiologist job welcomes new grads and candidates seeking to work on a trial basis (to make sure it’s a fit for both parties) to apply.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE: This practice is currently staffed with an Internist and Interventional Cardiologist – ideal for a husband / wife team seeking to practice together. There is an option to take over the practice at some point in the near future as well. Interested candidates must want to strongly consider this option.

ABOUT THE POSITION: Practice is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join an established 30 year practice full-time. Current provider has two surgery days and does all procedures, except no ablation. Clinic days are seeing 15-20 patients per day between 11am-4pm/5pm. This provider is currently taking his own call for only his patients, however he is not taking hospital call, but that is certainly an option.

Internal Medicine physician is only practicing outpatient medicine, however hospital call & rounds is certainly an option for a new provider. Average census is 12-15 patients per day, Monday – Friday.

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY: Found along Florida’s welcoming Gulf Coast, the rapidly growing community is located near Sarasota and Fort Myers, perfectly positioned to offer every manner of water-borne activities. There is more than 165 miles of waterways and many more miles of natural shoreline bordering the community. But that’s not all! Seven of the 21 golf courses are located in the county and there is a Sports Park that is home to spring training. The community also offers hiking trails and wildlife viewing through 380 acres of scrub and pine flat-woods. Plus family living and schools are outstanding!
