Our client is based in northwestern Pennsylvania near the shores of Lake Erie. It proudly serves the community as a Federally Qualified Health Center Look Alike (FQHC Look-Alike). It adheres to rigorous compliance standards that ensure patients receive high-quality, equitable care. As a Community Health Center (CHC), it operates three locations in Erie County, Pennsylvania. This mission-driven CHC provides primary health care services (medical and behavioral health services) and is the sole Pennsylvania Region 5 grantee for refugee health screening. It is a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) National Health Service Corps site and a Pennsylvania Primary Care Loan Repayment Program Practice Site. In addition, it enjoys strong community partnerships with local refugee resettlement agencies, government agencies, schools, and other healthcare organizations.
The need begins on June 23rd, 2025 at one of the three clinics. All three are outpatient and they operate Monday through Friday with an 8 hour shift and a one hour non paid lunch. There is no OB care provided. This is purely family medicine. Children included. The assignment is open-ended with every four weeks a discussion for extension. The clinic desires to hire a family medicine physician however locum physician shall be needed until a full time hire is made.
To be considered the physician must be willing to work for A family medicine physician income based on median national averages. $234,000 or $112 per hour. The physician must be approved to work with Medicare/Medicaid. Malpractice insurance shall be provided. Pennsylvania is a member of the Interstate medical licensure compact agreement. Therefore, a license can be obtained in less than a month. The candidate must be willing to travel (if need be) to the clinic and stay in a hotel (if need be) during the week. No airfare or car rental will be approved. Round trip miles and lodging shall be paid for by the client.
