We are a busy, growing practice located in an area that is very close to GA/SC border. Our community is a beautiful city of over half a million in the metro area with a low cost of living, great schools, and vibrant entertainment opportunities. The chief mainstays of our local economy are the medical and legal industry, the nuclear energy sector, and we are home to the United States Army Cyber Command Center at Fort Gordon which offers enormous military and contract opportunities across several technology-focused fields. We are home to a University which includes the Medical College of Georgia. There is also a growing entertainment industry presence for both film and television.

The practice is seeking fellowship-trained pain specialist. Our 4 provider practice – alongside our adjacent, physician-owned Ambulatory Surgery Center – currently provides conservative and interventional pain, regenerative medicine, and opioid use disorder outpatient treatment services.

Practice and ASC are co-located in facility in the heart of the city. Our CEO and medical director is a 5x board-certified pain specialist and the only pain specialist within a 200 mile radius offering the full suite of comprehensive pain services, including all key advanced procedures. He is a national leader in advanced procedures such as SI Joint fusions and is excited to train the next great doctor in the the community if required. Practice enjoys an excellent reputation over the last 20+ years with many different referral sources. Very competitive compensation and benefits package. Excellent support staff including HR and administration so providers can focus on patient care.

 

The IDEAL candidate will be:

  •  Anesthesia or PM&R with a fellowship in pain medicine (BE/BC)
  •  Energetic self-starter with excellent bedside manner
  •  Proficient in image-guided interventional procedures (e.g., RFA, stims)
  •  Experience with regenerative medicine (PRP, stem cells) and advanced procedures (e.g., neuromodulation, SI joint fusion) is a plus
