NEUROSURGEON RELOCATING TO VA, NC, SC, TN, AL, GA, OR FL

This PGY-6 neurosurgery chief resident is originally from New Jersey. He completed undergraduate and medical school at Drexel University.  His clinical interests are in skull base neurosurgery, neurosurgical oncology, peripheral nerve and big data in neurosurgery.  He hopes his practice will consist of at least 50% cranial procedures.  He will be finishing his PGY-7 in 2022 with an enfolded neurosurgical-oncology fellowship before continuing on to a postgraduate neurosurgical-oncology fellowship, set for completion in 2023.   He is also concurrently completing his master’s in data science from Northwestern University, Chicago.  He is married to an Emergency Medicine physician who is currently an assistant Medical Director.  She will seek employment in a  Level two or three trauma center.  They have a two year old son.   They prefer metro/suburban/midsize communities from VA southward to FL.

He wrote the following narrative, “I am currently finishing an Enfolded fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology as a PGY-7 resident and am looking for a position in July-August of 2023. After my current fellowship, I will be completing a second fellowship in Neuro-oncologic & Endoscopic Neurosurgery. My personal clinical interests are in endoscopic skull-base surgery, awake craniotomies, keyhole minimally invasive cranial surgery, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, and peripheral nerve tumors/ neuropathy/ transfers. In addition to my clinical focus, I am interested in incorporating advanced data analytics into neurosurgery and outcomes-based research as I finish a Master’s in Data Science. I understand that I am looking 2 years in advance but please let me know if this is an opportunity that can fit my timeline.
