ONCOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER JOB at a first-rate Cancer Care facility in this highly desirable location in southern/coastal Maine, near Portsmouth New Hampshire, just one hour from Boston. This independent medical center has a clinical affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital and their team of specialists.



Join a respected Oncology program providing inpatient and outpatient care through an award-winning 79-bed nonprofit community hospital. You will collaborate with Oncologists to assess, evaluate, treat and refer patients with a focus on promoting healthy lifestyles and providing patient education. In this role you will combine the key qualities of both nursing and medicine.



As a valuable member of this specialized team, you will provide direct care to medical oncology patients, acting as a patient advocate to coordinate all aspects of cancer care, including psychosocial issues and referrals to outside agencies and resources. Help offer cutting-edge treatments in a community setting, giving patients the same treatments provided in larger academic institutions, close to home, and with personalized attention and care. This Cancer Center has a dedicated facility just half a mile from the hospital campus. You will have a convenient weekday schedule, and you will share in the practice call responsibilities. NPs with specific Oncology experience will receive priority attention. You should have current ACLS and BLS certification. A Maine license is NOT required to apply.
