Opportunity for Psychiatrist in Wake Forest, NC!

Ready for a change?  We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced psychiatrist to join our ACT Team in North Raleigh / Wake Forest area of North Carolina.  This position can be either two or three days/week; although full time will be possible in about 6 months if you wish.  You can work either 16 or 24 hours/week initially.  The ACT Team operates on week days, only.  Qualified adult psychiatrists must be NC licensed with at least 1 year of post residency experience.

The ACT Team serves individuals with persistent mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse issues that require intensive interventions to achieve and maintain stability in the community.

This program’s primary goals are the promotion of symptom stability, both emotionally and physically, as well as the restoration of personal, community living and social skills.  The hope is to assist the individual to maintain the highest possible level of functioning in the community.

The focus is on providing the highest level of quality patient care and the staff is very friendly and team oriented to work with. There is plenty of room for professional growth and advancement and a healthy work-life balance is encouraged!

• 1099 contractor position

• Likelihood of full time if desired within 6 months

• One year contract required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified adult psychiatrists must be licensed in North Carolina,

• At least 1 year of post residency experience is required

• You must be able to work week days (no weekends with this position)

• Ability to provide Suboxone treatment to existing patients is a plus

• Must be willing to see adult patients in their homes in the Wake Forest area.
