Pediatric Medicine Locum Assignment in Maryland

Out-Patient Pediatric position in Maryland is seeking assistance with call coverage and an MD/DO to work on a locum or part-time basis

Location: The practice is located in Maryland and in a suburb of Washington, D.C.

We are looking to secure a BC Pediatrician to take phone call only for the office starting Sunday morning, July 17th through Monday morning, July 25, 2022. You would be required to order prescriptions if needed and/or send the patient to the urgent care or ER. This practice does not typically get many calls on average.

ALSO, we are seeking a BC/E Pediatrician who is available to work on a locum or part-time basis starting as soon as possible. We prefer someone who can work 4-1/2 days a week, but will strongly consider all options.

Outpatient Only

Office hours:

• Monday – Thursday – 7:30am – 5:00pm
  • (closed 1 hr. for lunch)
• Friday – 7:30am – Noon

Paper Charts are available, however they do have EMR implemented.  Also, they have prescription stamps and utilize E-prescribe.

Census:

• 25-30 patients/pd/pp
• 7:30-8:30 are walk-ins
• 8:30-5:00 are appointments

You will be assisted with a full-time staff of 8 who are very well experienced and most of them have at least 12 years exp. They will do strep testing and just about everything else for the physician.

Requirements:

• Must be BC/BE
• Current MD License
• Clean Databank
• No current significant malpractice history
• This position does not qualify for visa candidates
