Small E.R. Dept. in Alabama is seeking a Physician to work on a moonlighting basis!

This hospital is located approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour from Montgomery & Auburn and less than 2 hrs. from Birmingham.

We are seeking a Physician with ER experience who is Board Certified / Board Eligible and holds an active & unrestricted DEA & AL. License.

Available shifts starting in October (possibly some in September)

Shifts are 12 or 24 hours and run 7AM – 7PM and 7PM – 7AM

Census: Avg. 20 patients in 24 hours / 7-8k annual visits

EMR is implemented

Physician quarters available while on duty. Must be within commuting distance or willing to stay in a room in the hospital before or after the shift. Housing is not available.

Compensation: offering an hourly rate, malpractice and mileage reimbursement.
