This candidate, who was a medical assistant prior to attending P.A. school, will be graduating with honors in August and is scheduled to take her boards at the end of August. She and her husband will be relocating to Columbia, S.C. at the end of September/ early October and she would like to secure a full-time position in a Family Medicine Practice or an Urgent Care facility or a facility that provides both services. She is willing to commute up to an hour.

EMR experienced (Epic, Cerner, Practice Fusion, Athena and eClinical)
BLS, ACLS and PALS Certified

Proficient in: Closure of wounds with suture, staples, and dermabond, surgical first assist, administration and preparation of medications, wound care and dressing changes, obtaining and interpreting EKG’s, immunizations, injections, collection of cultures, incision and drainage, ear lavage, CPR, isolation and aseptic techniques, triage, breast examinations, papanicolaou cytology exams, shave and punch biopsies, splinting, patient education and counseling.
